Mocktail 2: Shirley Temple

Hello, today lets do a second mocktail, this 1 is simple and easy to do. Moreover, it also contain good amount of vitamin C from its ingredients. Its call Shirley Temple, name after child actress Shirley Temple. Another well known mocktail for its non alcoholic content, good for children and drivers and people who dont take alcohol. Its origins is said to be in 1930s and it was to honor child actress Shirley Temple, who asked for a cocktail without alcohol.
Lets see the ingredients.

3 simple ingredients almost the same as the previous mocktail.

Pomegranate juice - 2 oz or 60 ml
(once again i substitute the grenadine with pomegranate juice for more vitamin C :D)

Ginger beer, or ginger ale - 4 oz or 120 ml (u can get those can ones that i showed in the previous tutorial, they are sweeter, this bottle 1 that im using have a strong ginger taste.)

Orange juice - 2 oz or 60 ml

4 pieces of ice cubes (its important to have 4 large pieces of ice or ard 6 to 8 small pieces, not too much, not too less)

Lemon slice - for garnish

Instructions are easy, just follow the amount stated, and with a tall glass, add in the ingredients step by step.
Step 1: pour the pomegranate juice into the glass
Step 2: add in the orange juice
Step 3: add in the ice cubes
Step 4: add the ginger beer
Garnish with lemon slice. Ready to serve.
After stiring it will look like this, some bar serve it stirred, some bar sever it unstirred, i think the unstirred version looks elegant, there is this gradient of the colours, blending from darkest tat the bottom to the top.

Variations: the above recipe is closest to the original 1, except i change the grenadine with the pomegranate juice. There is another version that use no orange juice (commonly use in many restaurant), it will look like this, in the picture below, nice colour too. Just pomegranate juice and ginger ale, 1:2 proportion.

Other variation: there are many other variation and bars nowadays usually use sour mixed to replace the orange juice. Others would use sprite or 7-up instead of ginger ale, there is another 1 that uses the commercial 7-up or sprite that comes with lemon flavor and adding grenadine with them, those are all variation, try it for more fun :D
