Fruit Tart, with cheese cream base.

HELLO GUYS!!!! As promise here is my Tart. I found this cheese cream recipe online, and i find it special, so i decided to share with you guys. Basically this cream is made from cream cheese, so it gives a slight cheese flavour to the fruit tart, actually its not cheesy, but a little slight feel of cheese to it only. It also is not that sweet compared to normal tart cream. So its something like a fruit tart + cheese tart. And more importantly this recipe is easy to make, so everyone can make it and enjoy :D

Lets start off with the ingredients, first we have our puff pastry, i have seen many youtube vids on how to make pastry dough, but im someone who is never good in dealing with flour and baking stuff. I dont know why, my cookies and cake always turns out weird. Maybe i have no talent in baking...sad...wait for someone to bake me a cookie then...HAHA. Therefore, i decided not to try my luck and make a mess, i end up getting premade puff pastry. I know i use to said premade dough are boring, maybe next time i shall try making a home made pastry dough. And will blog about it when i success :D Anyway, this is what make the whole process easier also :D so yea, here is my pastry, PUFF pastry, remember, PUFF ones haha, then it gives a apple strudel feel, which is nice with this recipe. Available in most supermarket, at the frozen food section :D

Next we have our cream cheese :D kraft is not bad, other brands also can. :D This will me our main ingredient for our tart cream.

Vanilla essence :D to flavor up our cheese cream

Ingredient (2 pieces)

2 slices of cut puff pastry (around 12 cm by 5 cm, or just any slice to serve 1)
2 oz of cream cheese (roughly 2 scoop from a tablespoon)
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 tablespoon of vanilla essence
Sliced fruits (i use peaches)

Step 1: Cut the puff pastry into 2 slices, for 2 serving. 1 important tip that i realized in cutting the pastry is that, its to cut it when its frozen, dont laugh, its easier to handle when frozen then those that are not.
Then oil the baking tray and put it into the oven. Follow the instruction on the package of the puff pastry and bake accordingly, normally would be 200 degree bake for about 10 to 15 mins.
You can poke some holes but after different experiments, i realized its not necessary for this thin crust puff pastry. Pic: ready to go in oven.
Bake it till its golden brown until its like this.

Step 2: now lets make the tart cream. Here is the cream, i use a measuring cup to get the 2 oz, but its around 2 big scoop from a table spoon. :D
Add in the sugar, 1 table spoon
Add in the vanilla essence, half a table spoon
Now mixed it together and give it a well mix till all the sugar and cream dissolve together. something like this :D

Step 3: Now combine them together, lay the tart cream on the tart base
Top it up with any fruits u like :D berries, oranges, banana, kiwi all are nice choice. I choose peach, cos my fav fruit tart is peach tart :DENJOY :D
simple and delicious :D thats my new motto for my tutorial. AND ALSO APPETIZING :D

btw today my results are out, i have successfully complete my course of study :D Feeling so happy and high now, i know im abit slow, but i did it!!! GRADUATE LO
