Getting rid of Nausea :D

I got some info on Nausea from the net, hope it is useful for people feeling nausea :D

Nausea
is a very common symptom and it can be associated with several conditions. One of the common cause is improper eating habits. Try and find out if you are eating too frequently or at long intervals. In either case, may experience nausea. If you are eating foods that do not suit your body, it may make you feel nauseous too. Eating very heavily, especially a rich and fatty meal, can also make you nauseous. You will need to find out if the nausea is being caused by any of these eating behaviors and then change your eating behavior accordingly. Besides these eating disorders, there are several other reasons that can trigger nausea. However, nausea can also indicate some serious underlying disorder in the body. If happen for along time or very frequently, it is important that to consult a doctor and get a proper medical check done.

Here are some ways to get rid of nausea or make you feel better :D

  • Relax: Do not get into too much of activity; you should give ample amount of time to rest your body. Hyperactivity and stressful life can make nausea worse.
  • Drink fluids: You should drink cold water, lemonade, or fruit juices throughout the day. Herbal tea, mint tea, or ginger ale can also help. Take small sips of these drinks to get relief from nausea. (yea it says ginger ale!!! so maybe try my 2 mocktails haha :D)
  • Avoid triggers: Some of the common triggers of nausea are – certain food or cooking smells, smoke, perfume, heat, humidity, congested space, riding vehicles, etc. Try and identify the factors that act as a trigger for you and avoid them as far as possible.
  • Eat bland food: Eat foods that do not pose any difficulty in digestion. You should eat more of whole grains, cereals, fruits, and such other nutritious foods. Avoid spicy, oily, and fatty foods altogether. If you are feeling nausea because of pregnancy, you should keep snacking on crackers, toasts, and other such light foods at regular intervals.
Another point i got from another page is that if the cause is having meals with too long interval, 1 way which might help is to have small meals in short intervals.

To conclude, hope these info found on the net helps to get rid of nausea, if it happens too frequently or over a long time, then have to see a doctor k. :D Hope the above info helps :D
