Cheese Tempura recipe
So lets start with the ingredients.
First we have tempura flour, any brand will do.
Next we have crab sticks, of any thing that can do tempura with, like prawns, veges, potatoes ect.
Next we have cheese. For this kind of frying purpose, Parmesan cheese is good. Just like how we use it for the potato chip crumbs mac and cheese toppings. Yea, same taste :D Shredded Parmesan cheese. Prepare it on a plate with some tempura flour. Later we are going to dip them and fry.
Ingredients:
200g of tempura flour
8 to 10 crab sticks
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
Some ice cold water.
Okay first step, we prepare the batter.
Simply put the tempura flour into a bowl, 100g of it.
And then add in about 150ml of water. Or you can follow the instruction on the tempura flour package. If things goes right we will get a nice batter.
Then we can move on to frying, First we coat the crab stick with some of the remaining tempura flour
(for the next fre step i do not have a picture as im working alone. haha, but its simple frying instructions)
Next, dip the flour coated crab stick into the batter
And then dip it with some cheese. (remember at this stage do not put too much cheese on it)
Okay, so its flour, batter, cheese.
And then fry it with hot oil.
Haha, a simple snack :D
Hope you all enjoy it :D
This will be an interesting recipe for people who love Japanese food like me :DDD

Some life; Karma
Have you every wonder why?
I believe that all these are not by chance, they are fated and destine. But why? Karma. I believe that Karma is always there. I believe in past life and rebirth. Even though you did not do anything bad in this life, maybe in your past life, your did many bad things. Thats why people are born with fate that are terrible. Theres a saying, "karma is not a bitch, it reminds you of how a bitch you are in the past." or maybe its telling you that you are a bad person in your past life. So how do we save them, we cant, only they can save themselves, only you can save yourself. Start to cultivate good karma to neutralized and balanced out with the bad ones.
Well, bad karma aside, there are good ones too, if we do good things, we will definitely get good karma. And somethings good will happen. Maybe not now, not right after you did it, but maybe in 20 years time, when you are in trouble, someone will be there to lend you a hand.
"I dun believe in luck, I believe in karma" thats what something I said in a poker game. haha, i googled it, no one ever used this quote before. So let me be the 1 who says it. In future when im famous ok, im gonna say this HAHA yea!!!!!!!!!!

fear...
I suddenly feel like shit...i was having a happy day reading book and listening to music and browsing the net for interesting recipe. Nothing special but i like this peacefulness. Now my mood has gone down, im an emotional being and i hate this feeling...seriously...ok maybe staying home makes me think alot.
Now if you ask me, am i scared, honestly I am very very scared.
I fear a new different environment, i afraid i cant cope with the people and environment.
I fear swimming, i cant swim, i use to be scared of water, phobia, although as i grow up im okay with it now, i didnt bother to learn swimming.
I fear the physical test(ippt), since i came to poly, i have not exercise much. Remember the days in wushu when i can stretch and hug my feet and legs, took months to get that flexibility. Now i cant even touch the floor when i do stretching.
I fear leaving home, i will miss my families. I have grown up in a protected family, my parents love me and i have not experience much hardship. Im afraid that i cant cope.
I fear time, this timing is bad, there are many things i wanna do before going in ns, i fear that i wont be able to do them by the time i come out, or when im free. Like maintaining this blog...no one will read it if i update it once a week or once in 2 weeks...
But then again, there are things i look forward to
I look forward to meeting new friends, im sure there are nice people out there :D
I look forward to trainning my body and becoming fit, for the sake of health and girls :D hahaha
I look forward to changing myself into a better person and becoming a MAN!!!!
I look forward to learning leadership related stuff in NS, so that is good for my future.
I actually look forward to chionging ns and not chao geng.
But i really hope my body can make it, and also mentally too, i need a motivation, i need something to push me...

wrap up, yea wrap sandwich!!!
So lets start with the ingredients.
We have, tortilla wraps, which basically is the wrap. No brand in particular, but i couldnt find the big sheets that they use to make standard size wraps, these are the smaller ones, but its ok, same same haha. But these are harder to wrap :( but still the same.
Then we have our salad dressing, any of your fav dressing will do, mayo too, is all okay.Next is ham, i use smoke ham and honey baked ham. 2 different flavour in 1 haha, another alternative for the meat is to use chicken, i actually like chicken more, but then, after much consideration (im making a small portion for myself only, so if i buy 1 piece of chicken it will be too much. and chicken still need cook and more process, i wan a quick and easy 1) so i choose ham, just slice them, and its ready to wrap. But you can try chicken, fried or bbq or anything, its good in wraps.
So next we have our salad, im using mesclun salad, it available in supermarket in packets :D you can google the recipe online too if you dont wanna buy the packet ones. But it must be mesclun, i realized that it taste awesome with wraps. You can use lettuce with mayo, its good too, but i love mesclun salad, and also its more healthy :D
And lastly, cheddar cheese :D, yea in the previous post on cheese and dreams, cheddar let you have good dreams, so yea lets eat cheddar cheese. Not only that it taste good on wraps too :D
So the ingredients summary serve 3:
2 slices of ham, cut into strips (ard 9 to 12 strips)
1/2 a cup of cheddar cheese
1 cup of mesclun salad
3 pieces of tortilla wraps (the small size im using)
-----
Alright, so first, lets start off with heating up the tortilla wraps, yes you need to heat it up :D follow the instructions or just heat it till its warm, its the same, cos its already cooked so it doesnt really matter.Next spread some salad dressing on the tortilla wrap, notice where i work on, its not really in the middle, slightly below. The rest of the ingredients will also be placed there. It will help in wrapping.
Next put in the salad :D take not on the portion, its important not to overload it with ingredients, it will be hard to wrap up and also hard to bite.
Add in the ham, if its a big sheet tortilla, normally people would fold the ham to create some volume, but now we are working on small sheets, so its not necessary.
Lastly spread some cheddar cheese on, the more the merrier, haha so that you can have good dreams :D
Then you roll it up!!! oh no...im alone, and i cant snap a pic of doing this alone, so i shall show you guys a video from youtube on how to roll this thing. Its simple :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEkiUpq-Ap0
Watch it till the end and they show you how to wrap it :D
And then lastly, in order for the cheese to melt, we need to heat it up alittle, so throw it into an oven, microwave or steam it whatever hahaha and then its ready to serve.
Cut it diagonal :D
Tada enjoy!!!
hahahaahah, its been awhile since i did a tutorial, my views are dropping T_T so sad...must support okay!!!!! If not i go army how, no one see liao, close shop and emo hahaha okay im gonna work on the next 1 soon :D

Cheese and Sweet dreams
Cheese lovers alert!!! below is an interesting article on cheese and dreams HAHA, lets eat some cheese before sleeping :D
------
For decades parents have warned their children not to have cheese before bedtime to prevent bad dreams. But researchers have disproved this old wife's tale and found that cheese could actually aid sleep.
The study by the British Cheese Board, involved 200 volunteers in a week-long experiment. The cheese-munching volunteers reported no nasty dreams after a late night snack.
After eating a 20g piece of cheese 30 minutes before going to sleep, 72 per cent of the volunteers slept very well every night, just over two thirds remembered their dreams and none reported nightmares.
Dr Judith Bryans, a nutrition scientist at The Dairy Council, said: "One of the amino acids in cheese - tryptophan - has been shown to reduce stress and induce sleep so cheese may actually help you have a good night's sleep."
Type of cheese eaten affects dreams
But they reported that the type of cheese you choose can affect the dreams you have.
When it came to dream type, it seemed that Stilton caused the most crazy dreams, with 75 per cent of men and 85 per cent of women eating Stilton experiencing odd and vivid dreams.
Examples of these mad dreams included a vegetarian crocodile upset because it could not eat children, and soldiers fighting each other with kittens rather than guns.
Choose cheddar for celebrity dreams
If you want a star-studded dream then your best bet is cheddar. Almost two-thirds of volunteers eating cheddar reported dreaming about celebrities, including Jordan and Johnny Depp.
Or if you are missing old friends then try Red Leicester. More than six out of 10 volunteers eating the cheese had nostalgic dreams about their past, including school days and childhood friends.
British brie tended to give women nice dreams, such as Jamie Oliver cooking dinner in their kitchen, while the men had odd dreams such as having a drunken conversation with a dog.
Sleep well with Cheshire
If you just fancy a good night's kip then Cheshire cheese could be for you, with over half of nights in volunteers eating this type completely dreamless.
Neil Stanley, PhD director of sleep research at the University of Surrey, said: "The Cheese and Dream study is the first study of its kind and suggests that eating cheese before you go to bed may actually aid a good night's sleep.
"It seems that selecting the type of cheese you eat before bedtime may help determine the very nature of often colourful and vivid cheese-induced dreams."
Nigel White, secretary of the British Cheese Board, said: "Now that our Cheese and Dreams study has finally debunked the myth that cheese gives you nightmares we hope that people will think more positively about eating cheese before bed."
Cheddar myth
It is not clear where the cheese and nightmares myth originated.
It has been linked to Charles Dickens' character Scrooge who blamed "a crumb of cheese" on his night-time visitations in A Christmas Carol.
The myth has also been associated with a 1950s health scare when cheese was found to be problematic for people using a particular antidepressant.

Halloween on yw birthday!! and a long time no see meet up
Before celebrating, went to meet yw and cheng at TPY to find hp (yea i need a new phone, an NS phone...T_T), wow walk ard tpy central and its the best place to find 2nd hand handphone. There are so many handphone shops there!!! the price are consider cheap. BUT!, alot of this shops like to do little scams, and being a nice and stupid guy, who had never bought a 2nd hand hp before, i kena the scam. And the 2 fags who i tot will help out didnt notice too. 1st, there is no memory card in the phone...T_T and then, the charger was broken. The price was ok, 180 for a nokia E51 but with no accessories. Pretty much a bad deal. DAM walked and find for 3 hrs man...T_T ok but still i love the phone, it can go twitter and fb, so meaning i wont be so bored in NS. And its a mid end phone, unlike bb or htc, so no one will likely to steal it. Yay, still got the phone and was happy. Headed off to celebrate yw birthday~
Went timbre for dinner, yea timbre again, and this time, with reservation!!!! yay we dont need to queue. Love the pizza and the cocktails. I had a grasshopper cocktail, didnt took a picture, but its a sweet and nice cocktail. (taste like peppermint milktea hahahah) Its quite sad, only 5 PID went!!!! the rest are busy or at halloween party. Yw abit emo, but after awhile he is ok, yea...scropio boy, he is also emotional, seeing so many people didnt turn up is quite depressing. Anyway after the dinner we had a nice dedication of birthday song to yw, live bands is just so cool. haha, Ok next we went to a karaoke pub, the building beside beside Istana, not neverland, its a boring and ah beng place. This place is quite nice to chill, we went for the ktv pub on top, there is a thai pub below, its connected, but we prefer a cleaner environment and yw like to sing song. Everything is smooth and nice, the place is nice to chill and sit, the alcohol was abit expansive, $188 for a bottle for martell but its ok, yw birthday, spent abit more lor...lol. Plus its empty, onli our table and another table, so the songs came fast, unlike other ktv pubs. I dun really sing so i kept drinking and playing games, and things are good. Until..... something kinda fucked up happen...
The manager of the place come and chat with us, and after talking awhile he wanted to bring some thai girls up for us (since its a linked thai pub below) so i think somehow the other guys agreed or didnt refuse. So 2 girls came... some of the guys are like flirting and hugging the girls, while me and the others sit and watch lols... So now we knew who the perverts are.... after awhile, i pulled yw aside, ask him a question "we are tipping the girls right?" although we didnt do anything, or ask them to do anything, by right, since they come and accompany us, we should tip them. Both of us think that its a must to tip the girls, but as we went back to the table, the other guys, refuse to tips the girls. The said this is nothing much...no need to tips. So this kinda pissed me off, those guys who touch and girls and put their arm around the girls refuse to tips them!! what the hell...i dont get it, they think the girls like them? i felt pity for those girls, traveling to another country, which they totally know nothing of, being touch by perverts all the time...its really sad...im sure they hate men. So at least tip them, they are here to earn money. All girls have feelings, so dont hurt them. After awhile the girls left, cos they refuse to buy drinks i think. And after the incident, i was quite pissed, can see yw issnt very happen about it too. So the end, overall a nice place but dun call the girls up =.= we are there to enjoy with our friends, not to find thai girls. After that when i reach home, something came to my mind, i remember dad always say "a successful man dont get seduce by woman". So i shall keep to this code :D haha and no i didnt do anything to the girls, im a good guy :D
Reached home almost 6 am...well done zm and co. we have to meet our pid lecturer for lunch the next day at 11 hahahahaha. Ok so slept for 3 hrs...wake up at 10, rush down and we were late, im the 4th earliest btw, but still everyone is late. Hahaha, luckily since we are no longer students, we didnt get a scolding haha. So yea, linwei wasnt there, i think sunday he need to take care of his sons haha, Marcus and Ken came, and Ken brought along his son hahaha, 4 or 5 yr old little boy haha so cute. And its been a real pleasure to make friends with our lecturer, going out to eat and meet ups. I think its really cool, haha, had alot of fun hanging out with our lecturers. And guess what the 1st thing marcus told me, "during your crit, you seeebei guai lan leh" yea my crit was a drama, kheehuat kept shooting me and i shoot back every bullet he shot to me hahahaah. To marcus, it seems very entertaining hahaha. A lunch at nyny and a good chat at starbucks. I realized the food standard at nyny is dropping. Very bad man...
So anyway we talk alot about school, further studies, work, and also NS...T_T sad...im going in NS too... like 3 weeks 1 day left??? noooooooo. Anyway heard alot fun stuff in NS, hope i get in a good company with good mates. Oh btw, according to ken, girls felt secured when dating NS man, is it true? hahahaha afterall they dont have much time out, only weekends, so according to ken, girls felt secure this way. hahahaha and this give a moral boost to the guys. But i think, there is another part of it, guys will be the one feeling very insecure? will they? i dont know. haha. And its really funny to hear about the old NS times and comparing it to the NS now, last time there is no phones, so everyone have to queue up for the paid phone, just imagine queuing a line of 30 to 40 people, wow, thats shows how devoted a NS man is to his girlfriend :D haha now no more liao...all got handphone hahaha. fb twitter bbm ebuddy sms everything all can do.
-------
Ahhh ok...an entry on some personal life, i shall blog about a restaurant soon, had it ytd and its great :D
