P - People
R - Rest
I - I
D - Do
E - Extra

PRIDE = People rest i do extra...thats pride... :D

-----

Was heartbroken yesterday, didnt know things would turn out like this. But then again, happy for you, hope things will be good for you. Hope that you can read the book i gave you, and learn something from it, be a more positive person, thats the key to happiness. Hope the book can guide you to the path of happiness.

Stupid right me? kena reject still can wish other people happy... the whole world must be laughing at me now...

Im always like that, always being the stupid boy, the slow fool, the dummy.

And everytime after something like this happens, ill tell myself, "its time to be selfish, its time to think more for myself" but then everytime things like this happens... I guess ill be fine soon, we are still friends, at least i didnt scare you away haha :D At least u still accept the gift :D

I wont cry, i cannot cry...im always been nicknamed laughing buddha, because im always smiling and laughing, always showing the happy side of me, and ill never show the sad side. And also, my sir always says, when we are shag we cannot show others we are shag, we have to look up, and stay strong!!! so now i cant be sad, ill be smiling, for you happiness, for my (i dont know what), for a better future.

weight loss and real NS starting...

I actually lost 6.5kg in 3 weeks, its quite a good achievement. Remember me trying to do those tutorial and eating things i cook few months back? hahah i actually gain around 5 kg doing that. Now i loss all those weight within 3 weeks :D wow NS is like a slimming center :D so yea,eat healthy and do PT LOL not bad ar. The rule here is simple, weight only can loss, cannot gain, no matter what gain weight means sat stay back remedial training, and there is no way im going do that. 1st few weeks is free one, dunwanna let my sat taken away, cos in future there will be alot RT for those who fail ippt or cannot meet the standards. So yea, even now im outside, i dun dare to eat fried food or fattening food. Diet Diet Diet :D yesterday had the all day breakfast at wild honey again, quite healthy for a dinner haha

And now that the real NS is starting im looking forward to it, had our rifle handing ceremony last week, was woken up at 3 am, rush and panic and change and go for a 3 km march and then take our rifle from sir. After that the whole day we played around with technical handling of rifle. Its quite fun :DD But guess what, next day test liao :(( haha, PT is getting more and more tough, but its good workout to the body, love the gym and swimming session, i think if got time ill go on my own too :D Im looking forward t more challenge coming :D and oh hope my body can cope with all those tiring PT, persevere!!!

Ive set my goals, in this 19 weeks bmt i shall lose weight and slim down, target around 75 to 80 kg range. And im aiming for command school, so ippt must be gold or silver. I know its hard, but i believe its possible, heard many stories and i wanna tell my story next time too. I believe i can do it!! I WILL WORK HARD AND NEVER GIVE UP!!!

To the girl i like, seems like you have been doing well recently :D happy for you. I still dont know how to tell you i like you, I dont have the courage, i dont have the time, i dont know what to do. But i wont give up, i will wait, i will try, i will work hard. I really wanna talk to you...haha... So please reply me abit more often k :D all the best :)

Xmas is coming, is i wish for you, haha i'd be too selfish, i wont do that. So i wish that you will be always happy :D and hope that 1 day i can be the 1 who make you happy :D

A very important lesson learn in army, Appreciation

First book out!!! and yeah, its gonna be the happiest time in my life, after being cut off from the world for 15 days, im out!!! But yea...also sick...sore throat and cough. :((

Life is not really that bad afterall in the army, had quite alot of fun and also tough trainning. I always wonder why people say a boy becomes a man when he goes army. Is it because of the toughness of the trainning? or the age of becoming an adult just nice falls during most people's NS time? is it because we ge to hold a gun and be cool? or is it because its just something random people made up? But then, the moment i went into NS, on the 3rd of 4th day, i realized why. Its really a growing up process, and i can feel that im growing. Im not sure about the trainning that is waiting for me, the outfield, situation test and others. But for now i can already feel that im becoming not and more independent. And really starting to grow.

I come from a average family with no financial problems, i do work abit for my own extra pocket money but have not experience much hardship. My mom is a housewife and so there is no need for me to do house work or wash clothes. But the moment i went into NS, i need to do all those things myself. Area cleaning, washing clothes, tidy up my bed and things like this. And i never know things are that tough. Washing clothes is a good example, i did learn abit on how to wash clothes before i went in, but then again, washing clothes is really tiring. I use hand wash although there is a washing machine (4 machine shared by 200+ people, you wont get your turn...) anyway, washing the clothes is quite easy, all we need to do is to take a pill and put in the dirty clothes, add water and washing powder and soak it for awhile. But the hard part comes when we wanna squeeze the clothes dry. First few days we did not do any arm workout, but my arm muscle gets pains from squeezing the clothes, and my palm turns red from squeezing too hard. Yea, its only 4 pieces of clothing a day. I then start thinking, my mom washing how many pieces of clothing a day? I dun know...but surely its more then what im doing. Slowly, i start getting use to the washing and have no red palm or muscle ache.

Next is the drying of clothes, I never know drying clothes and making sure clothes wont drop on to the first floor is so troublesome. Its raining season now, so in tekong, we get rains too. So main point here is, we need to collect back our clothes when its rainning. The problems with that is sometimes we do not have time to go up and take back the clothes. Also on rainning days, we will also have to worry about clothes not getting dry, not enough clothes to wear. (we are only given 3 pieces of singlet for PT, 3 admin tee, and 3 shorts) so yea 1 set a day, sometimes we use more then 1 set, cos we sweat a lot there. So many things to worry about, plus i drop a singlet down to the first floor once, its quite scary, luckily i found it :D gonna bring more clothes peg in next time :D After experiencing this, i realized how mom would call back and nag us to help her take in clothes during rainning days when she is not home, and sis and I sometimes were so lazy we didnt bother. And how our clothes fly down stairs and she would help go and find it.

Next is the area and bed cleaning, honestly i dont do housework... so yea...fuck man... Cleaning itself is still okay, but when it will gets dirty again very soon!!! there are people who are just fucking stupid and make places dirty again. My area was the corridor and stairs, it wasnt that bad, just need some sweeping to be done. But the fucked up thing is that the rubbish bin at there and we are responsible for it too, and there will be people who cant throw the rubbish into the bin, no idea how they miss such an obvious big bin with a small piece of litter, but we always need to clean it up...dam... Bed and bunk also need to be in stand by (very clean and tidy) condition everytime, we leave our bunk, if not we will be punish even if its not a standby bed. This is also quite hard for me to adapt as i do no really tidy my room at home. Once in awhile yea, thats what most people my age do. But now we need to keep it clean and tidy at all times, so yea... trying trying trying, luckily im able to adapt fast and changing my habits. From this, i learn to get rid of bad habits in NS haha, not bad eh. I also learn that its really terrible when you clean up a place and people mess it up again. It really sucks. Really learn how to appreciate things more, even cleaners who help to keep our environment clean, next time i wont litter anymore...its really fuck up.

Food, no need to say, taste wise is not bad, tekong have decent food. But the problem comes when the food everyday is almost the same, rice with chicken and vege and meat or fish and 1 more dunno what. 4 dish with rice, everyday and everyday sure got chicken, sure eat at least 2 chicken a day...eat till scared of chicken now... I miss my mom's home cooked food. i remember there are times when i ask my mom to cook and i went out to eat with my friends...i felt bad... i miss alot of food and during this 3 days break i eat alot...oh noooooo haha.

Training and other things like punishment stuff are all very mild, so i cant say much now, the first 2 weeks is for us to get use to the life in NS so they are not that harsh yet, will blog more when interesting things happens.

I have become more tanned and have lost 3kg in 2 weeks, not bad but still alot more to go!!!

To conclude, i actually felt that i adapt quite fast and became a more independent person. I learn to do many things myself, although we help each other out too, but main thing we need to do is to be independent. I use to think army is about bonding and helping out each other, like what we do in PID. (ok this teamwork and bonding part is important too) But now i realized im lacking alot of skills and experience in life, and im slowly learning. Learning to survive in a new world. NS also let me appreciate more things, i have not appreciate those things enough. Lastly, looking back at this merely 2 weeks of NS life, i realized how much i have grown... i wonder how i will be when i come ou of NS, i think thats the reason why people say a boy goes into the army, and comes out as a man... Im ready for a change, growing more matured, and a path to manhood. This 2 years, im not going to waste it.

I have left my comfort zone...and growing up...im really happy to be a NS man... :D

Cheese Tempura recipe

Hey, its been a long long time since i blog about food tutorials. So let me introduce you an interesting, tempura recipe. Its tempura with cheese :D I saw this method on the tv show Cook off. Its air on channel 8, friday, 8 pm. In 1 of the episode there is this dish on some cheesy popiah filling, and they have vege sides that is fried with tempura and cheese. I find it interesting so i decided to try it. And its great. The cheese element combine together with the tempura gives it a mixed of eastern and western feel.

So lets start with the ingredients.
First we have tempura flour, any brand will do.
Next we have crab sticks, of any thing that can do tempura with, like prawns, veges, potatoes ect.
Next we have cheese. For this kind of frying purpose, Parmesan cheese is good. Just like how we use it for the potato chip crumbs mac and cheese toppings. Yea, same taste :D Shredded Parmesan cheese. Prepare it on a plate with some tempura flour. Later we are going to dip them and fry.

Ingredients:
200g of tempura flour
8 to 10 crab sticks
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
Some ice cold water.

Okay first step, we prepare the batter.
Simply put the tempura flour into a bowl, 100g of it.
And then add in about 150ml of water. Or you can follow the instruction on the tempura flour package. If things goes right we will get a nice batter.
Then we can move on to frying, First we coat the crab stick with some of the remaining tempura flour

(for the next fre step i do not have a picture as im working alone. haha, but its simple frying instructions)

Next, dip the flour coated crab stick into the batter
And then dip it with some cheese. (remember at this stage do not put too much cheese on it)

Okay, so its flour, batter, cheese.

And then fry it with hot oil.

Haha, a simple snack :D

Hope you all enjoy it :D

This will be an interesting recipe for people who love Japanese food like me :DDD

More life; you can heal your life.

In my life, i have met with many problems, so many, that i start to hate living in this world. Life changes, things changes, people changes. For the good, for the bad. Long story, to cut things short, I am a miserable person. No one cheers me up, I dun tell my friends my problem...i dun tell anyone. Cos those who knew me well, will just pull me out for a drink, they wont ask, haha thats what i love about my buddies. They dont ask, but they will be there. And i dont say anything too. I like it this way, i dont wanna bother others, I like to keep things to myself. So when no one is there to cheer me up. What to do? I learn something throughout my years of life. I learn how to cheer myself up. I learn to think positive, I learn to lead my life that is as good as it can be. Ok another thing, my dad is a very positive person, being a voluntary counsellor, he need to give positive advice to people. Maybe its his influence, i dun tell him my problems, he dun come and give me counselling. However, theres a saying, "a child sees his parent as he grows up" or something like that, in chineses. So my family is spread with positive energy, thats why i learn how to cheer myself up at times, although not all the times...i do cry under my pillow even till this age...haha. But my stories aside. Now i wanna cheer people up too, i wanna find a way to spread this positive energy over. But instead of telling my stories and stuff, it will be very very long and will take ages and mine may not be professional advice too. So today im going to introduce an author, a book and a movie. Let some professional help.

This is the book. You can heal your life, By Louis L. Hay. Its an awesome book, i HAVE NOT read it entirely, just read thru some of it. But it can really make a sad person, happy, a happy person, happier. The main aim of this book is about positive thinking and how it can helps to cure health problems. There is even a movie did on this book, and you can see it on youtube, or buy the dvd. (I will post the links at the end of my post.) I saw it on youtube, and its really inspiring. The author Louis Hay, had a very sad life too, she was abuse when she was a child, married and then divorce, and then have cancer, and many other things. But yet she over come them and is now leading a happy life, teaching people how to be change and be positive. She wrote many books :D Respect.

Ok its a must watch haha. here is the link, its upload by someone, so ill just go to that person's page and give the link, credits to him/her

http://www.youtube.com/user/shdwelf#p/c/6410D761FB05E06B

Altogether 10 parts of the movie is there, 90 mins running time.

And here is the Louis L. Hay's website.
http://www.louisehay.com/

Be sure to follow her fb page and twitter haha.

I really wish this book can help people who need, and to lead a happy life, you most probably can buy it at any establish bookstores, Kinokuniya sells them, $18 for the small gift edition, 28 for the big gift edition, and i think the normal 1 was $19, cant remember. Although i have not studied the book completely, i will do it some other time when i have the time, maybe after my NS. Okay i really hope this book helps, and when you are free, go take a look at the movie :D

Some life; Karma

People have always wonder about fairness in life, and why everyone is not born equal. Questions re asked on why 1 person is so healthy, and another is born with many health problems. Why is one born in a wealthy family and another is born in poverty. Why is one able to enjoy long and happy life while others have their life cut short...

Have you every wonder why?

I believe that all these are not by chance, they are fated and destine. But why? Karma. I believe that Karma is always there. I believe in past life and rebirth. Even though you did not do anything bad in this life, maybe in your past life, your did many bad things. Thats why people are born with fate that are terrible. Theres a saying, "karma is not a bitch, it reminds you of how a bitch you are in the past." or maybe its telling you that you are a bad person in your past life. So how do we save them, we cant, only they can save themselves, only you can save yourself. Start to cultivate good karma to neutralized and balanced out with the bad ones.

Well, bad karma aside, there are good ones too, if we do good things, we will definitely get good karma. And somethings good will happen. Maybe not now, not right after you did it, but maybe in 20 years time, when you are in trouble, someone will be there to lend you a hand.

"I dun believe in luck, I believe in karma" thats what something I said in a poker game. haha, i googled it, no one ever used this quote before. So let me be the 1 who says it. In future when im famous ok, im gonna say this HAHA yea!!!!!!!!!!

fear...

Suddenly i feel like shit...Ns is approaching in 18 days time. I kept thinking its 3 weeks, but then i just realized, 3 weeks is 21 days, not 18, 18 days is 2 and a half weeks...

I suddenly feel like shit...i was having a happy day reading book and listening to music and browsing the net for interesting recipe. Nothing special but i like this peacefulness. Now my mood has gone down, im an emotional being and i hate this feeling...seriously...ok maybe staying home makes me think alot.

Now if you ask me, am i scared, honestly I am very very scared.

I fear a new different environment, i afraid i cant cope with the people and environment.

I fear swimming, i cant swim, i use to be scared of water, phobia, although as i grow up im okay with it now, i didnt bother to learn swimming.

I fear the physical test(ippt), since i came to poly, i have not exercise much. Remember the days in wushu when i can stretch and hug my feet and legs, took months to get that flexibility. Now i cant even touch the floor when i do stretching.

I fear leaving home, i will miss my families. I have grown up in a protected family, my parents love me and i have not experience much hardship. Im afraid that i cant cope.

I fear time, this timing is bad, there are many things i wanna do before going in ns, i fear that i wont be able to do them by the time i come out, or when im free. Like maintaining this blog...no one will read it if i update it once a week or once in 2 weeks...

But then again, there are things i look forward to

I look forward to meeting new friends, im sure there are nice people out there :D

I look forward to trainning my body and becoming fit, for the sake of health and girls :D hahaha

I look forward to changing myself into a better person and becoming a MAN!!!!

I look forward to learning leadership related stuff in NS, so that is good for my future.

I actually look forward to chionging ns and not chao geng.

But i really hope my body can make it, and also mentally too, i need a motivation, i need something to push me...

Food business? interesting :D

wrap up, yea wrap sandwich!!!

So...the other day i was walking ard cold storage, and i was thinking of making a sandwich, looking for ingredients. You know, i was so inspired by the awesome sandwich i had at raffles place, the 1 i blog about afew post back, and i decided to try making them. But then, some problems occured, i couldnt find the ingredients needed there...im sad... They dont sell the italian ham i need, and spinach was sold out for the day. Suddenly, something else comes to me mind, wrap sandwich is awesome too. So i looked around and the ingredients are there. So for now, lets do a wrap sandwich, its awesome too, if you like kfc or subway's wrap, then you shld try this :D (i will try and get the ingredients and make the awesome sandwich the next time :D)

So lets start with the ingredients.
We have, tortilla wraps, which basically is the wrap. No brand in particular, but i couldnt find the big sheets that they use to make standard size wraps, these are the smaller ones, but its ok, same same haha. But these are harder to wrap :( but still the same.

Then we have our salad dressing, any of your fav dressing will do, mayo too, is all okay.Next is ham, i use smoke ham and honey baked ham. 2 different flavour in 1 haha, another alternative for the meat is to use chicken, i actually like chicken more, but then, after much consideration (im making a small portion for myself only, so if i buy 1 piece of chicken it will be too much. and chicken still need cook and more process, i wan a quick and easy 1) so i choose ham, just slice them, and its ready to wrap. But you can try chicken, fried or bbq or anything, its good in wraps.
So next we have our salad, im using mesclun salad, it available in supermarket in packets :D you can google the recipe online too if you dont wanna buy the packet ones. But it must be mesclun, i realized that it taste awesome with wraps. You can use lettuce with mayo, its good too, but i love mesclun salad, and also its more healthy :D

And lastly, cheddar cheese :D, yea in the previous post on cheese and dreams, cheddar let you have good dreams, so yea lets eat cheddar cheese. Not only that it taste good on wraps too :D

So the ingredients summary serve 3:

2 slices of ham, cut into strips (ard 9 to 12 strips)
1/2 a cup of cheddar cheese
1 cup of mesclun salad
3 pieces of tortilla wraps (the small size im using)

-----

Alright, so first, lets start off with heating up the tortilla wraps, yes you need to heat it up :D follow the instructions or just heat it till its warm, its the same, cos its already cooked so it doesnt really matter.Next spread some salad dressing on the tortilla wrap, notice where i work on, its not really in the middle, slightly below. The rest of the ingredients will also be placed there. It will help in wrapping.
Next put in the salad :D take not on the portion, its important not to overload it with ingredients, it will be hard to wrap up and also hard to bite.
Add in the ham, if its a big sheet tortilla, normally people would fold the ham to create some volume, but now we are working on small sheets, so its not necessary.
Lastly spread some cheddar cheese on, the more the merrier, haha so that you can have good dreams :D

Then you roll it up!!! oh no...im alone, and i cant snap a pic of doing this alone, so i shall show you guys a video from youtube on how to roll this thing. Its simple :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEkiUpq-Ap0
Watch it till the end and they show you how to wrap it :D
And then lastly, in order for the cheese to melt, we need to heat it up alittle, so throw it into an oven, microwave or steam it whatever hahaha and then its ready to serve.

Cut it diagonal :D

Tada enjoy!!!
hahahaahah, its been awhile since i did a tutorial, my views are dropping T_T so sad...must support okay!!!!! If not i go army how, no one see liao, close shop and emo hahaha okay im gonna work on the next 1 soon :D

Cheese and Sweet dreams

Cheese lovers alert!!! below is an interesting article on cheese and dreams HAHA, lets eat some cheese before sleeping :D

------

For decades parents have warned their children not to have cheese before bedtime to prevent bad dreams. But researchers have disproved this old wife's tale and found that cheese could actually aid sleep.

The study by the British Cheese Board, involved 200 volunteers in a week-long experiment. The cheese-munching volunteers reported no nasty dreams after a late night snack.

After eating a 20g piece of cheese 30 minutes before going to sleep, 72 per cent of the volunteers slept very well every night, just over two thirds remembered their dreams and none reported nightmares.

Dr Judith Bryans, a nutrition scientist at The Dairy Council, said: "One of the amino acids in cheese - tryptophan - has been shown to reduce stress and induce sleep so cheese may actually help you have a good night's sleep."

Type of cheese eaten affects dreams

But they reported that the type of cheese you choose can affect the dreams you have.

When it came to dream type, it seemed that Stilton caused the most crazy dreams, with 75 per cent of men and 85 per cent of women eating Stilton experiencing odd and vivid dreams.

Examples of these mad dreams included a vegetarian crocodile upset because it could not eat children, and soldiers fighting each other with kittens rather than guns.

Choose cheddar for celebrity dreams

If you want a star-studded dream then your best bet is cheddar. Almost two-thirds of volunteers eating cheddar reported dreaming about celebrities, including Jordan and Johnny Depp.

Or if you are missing old friends then try Red Leicester. More than six out of 10 volunteers eating the cheese had nostalgic dreams about their past, including school days and childhood friends.

British brie tended to give women nice dreams, such as Jamie Oliver cooking dinner in their kitchen, while the men had odd dreams such as having a drunken conversation with a dog.

Sleep well with Cheshire

If you just fancy a good night's kip then Cheshire cheese could be for you, with over half of nights in volunteers eating this type completely dreamless.

Neil Stanley, PhD director of sleep research at the University of Surrey, said: "The Cheese and Dream study is the first study of its kind and suggests that eating cheese before you go to bed may actually aid a good night's sleep.

"It seems that selecting the type of cheese you eat before bedtime may help determine the very nature of often colourful and vivid cheese-induced dreams."

Nigel White, secretary of the British Cheese Board, said: "Now that our Cheese and Dreams study has finally debunked the myth that cheese gives you nightmares we hope that people will think more positively about eating cheese before bed."

Cheddar myth

It is not clear where the cheese and nightmares myth originated.

It has been linked to Charles Dickens' character Scrooge who blamed "a crumb of cheese" on his night-time visitations in A Christmas Carol.

The myth has also been associated with a 1950s health scare when cheese was found to be problematic for people using a particular antidepressant.

Halloween on yw birthday!! and a long time no see meet up

Wooooo hoooooo. This year's Halloween is a no clubbing day for us, yea...seems like we have all grown out of clubbing age. Plus there are those long long queues at whatever clubs on halloween. Main event of the day was to celebrate yw birthday.

Before celebrating, went to meet yw and cheng at TPY to find hp (yea i need a new phone, an NS phone...T_T), wow walk ard tpy central and its the best place to find 2nd hand handphone. There are so many handphone shops there!!! the price are consider cheap. BUT!, alot of this shops like to do little scams, and being a nice and stupid guy, who had never bought a 2nd hand hp before, i kena the scam. And the 2 fags who i tot will help out didnt notice too. 1st, there is no memory card in the phone...T_T and then, the charger was broken. The price was ok, 180 for a nokia E51 but with no accessories. Pretty much a bad deal. DAM walked and find for 3 hrs man...T_T ok but still i love the phone, it can go twitter and fb, so meaning i wont be so bored in NS. And its a mid end phone, unlike bb or htc, so no one will likely to steal it. Yay, still got the phone and was happy. Headed off to celebrate yw birthday~

Went timbre for dinner, yea timbre again, and this time, with reservation!!!! yay we dont need to queue. Love the pizza and the cocktails. I had a grasshopper cocktail, didnt took a picture, but its a sweet and nice cocktail. (taste like peppermint milktea hahahah) Its quite sad, only 5 PID went!!!! the rest are busy or at halloween party. Yw abit emo, but after awhile he is ok, yea...scropio boy, he is also emotional, seeing so many people didnt turn up is quite depressing. Anyway after the dinner we had a nice dedication of birthday song to yw, live bands is just so cool. haha, Ok next we went to a karaoke pub, the building beside beside Istana, not neverland, its a boring and ah beng place. This place is quite nice to chill, we went for the ktv pub on top, there is a thai pub below, its connected, but we prefer a cleaner environment and yw like to sing song. Everything is smooth and nice, the place is nice to chill and sit, the alcohol was abit expansive, $188 for a bottle for martell but its ok, yw birthday, spent abit more lor...lol. Plus its empty, onli our table and another table, so the songs came fast, unlike other ktv pubs. I dun really sing so i kept drinking and playing games, and things are good. Until..... something kinda fucked up happen...

The manager of the place come and chat with us, and after talking awhile he wanted to bring some thai girls up for us (since its a linked thai pub below) so i think somehow the other guys agreed or didnt refuse. So 2 girls came... some of the guys are like flirting and hugging the girls, while me and the others sit and watch lols... So now we knew who the perverts are.... after awhile, i pulled yw aside, ask him a question "we are tipping the girls right?" although we didnt do anything, or ask them to do anything, by right, since they come and accompany us, we should tip them. Both of us think that its a must to tip the girls, but as we went back to the table, the other guys, refuse to tips the girls. The said this is nothing much...no need to tips. So this kinda pissed me off, those guys who touch and girls and put their arm around the girls refuse to tips them!! what the hell...i dont get it, they think the girls like them? i felt pity for those girls, traveling to another country, which they totally know nothing of, being touch by perverts all the time...its really sad...im sure they hate men. So at least tip them, they are here to earn money. All girls have feelings, so dont hurt them. After awhile the girls left, cos they refuse to buy drinks i think. And after the incident, i was quite pissed, can see yw issnt very happen about it too. So the end, overall a nice place but dun call the girls up =.= we are there to enjoy with our friends, not to find thai girls. After that when i reach home, something came to my mind, i remember dad always say "a successful man dont get seduce by woman". So i shall keep to this code :D haha and no i didnt do anything to the girls, im a good guy :D

Reached home almost 6 am...well done zm and co. we have to meet our pid lecturer for lunch the next day at 11 hahahahaha. Ok so slept for 3 hrs...wake up at 10, rush down and we were late, im the 4th earliest btw, but still everyone is late. Hahaha, luckily since we are no longer students, we didnt get a scolding haha. So yea, linwei wasnt there, i think sunday he need to take care of his sons haha, Marcus and Ken came, and Ken brought along his son hahaha, 4 or 5 yr old little boy haha so cute. And its been a real pleasure to make friends with our lecturer, going out to eat and meet ups. I think its really cool, haha, had alot of fun hanging out with our lecturers. And guess what the 1st thing marcus told me, "during your crit, you seeebei guai lan leh" yea my crit was a drama, kheehuat kept shooting me and i shoot back every bullet he shot to me hahahaah. To marcus, it seems very entertaining hahaha. A lunch at nyny and a good chat at starbucks. I realized the food standard at nyny is dropping. Very bad man...

So anyway we talk alot about school, further studies, work, and also NS...T_T sad...im going in NS too... like 3 weeks 1 day left??? noooooooo. Anyway heard alot fun stuff in NS, hope i get in a good company with good mates. Oh btw, according to ken, girls felt secured when dating NS man, is it true? hahahaha afterall they dont have much time out, only weekends, so according to ken, girls felt secure this way. hahahaha and this give a moral boost to the guys. But i think, there is another part of it, guys will be the one feeling very insecure? will they? i dont know. haha. And its really funny to hear about the old NS times and comparing it to the NS now, last time there is no phones, so everyone have to queue up for the paid phone, just imagine queuing a line of 30 to 40 people, wow, thats shows how devoted a NS man is to his girlfriend :D haha now no more liao...all got handphone hahaha. fb twitter bbm ebuddy sms everything all can do.

Sandwich and breakfast!!!

HOI!! hello, today, im gonna blog about this 2 places i went to eat yesterday, and its great, awesomeness!!

First off, its Joe and Dough, this is a small cafe like place that is famous for its sandwich and coffee. They also have nice cakes and brownies that tags along with the sandwich. Awesomenesssssss. Its at raffles place, I was there and Mq brought me to this cafe ytd, i actually wanted southern burger at boat quay, but that woman insist on this awesome sandwich shop so we went there, and i was blown away.

First here is their walnut brownie, i love this brownie as its not that sweet, and just nice. ok maybe the walnut pieces are too big, i prefer smaller bits, but its still nice, and some people may like it big pieces of walnuts :D

Next is my sandwich, the 1 i ate was the italian pama ham.
I dun know how to describe it, my vocab dictionary is not that powerful, but this thing, can make me eat some weird leaves without questioning what it is. Ok but i more or less know its baby spinach leaves, im not a big fan of it, and im picky on stuff like these...sometimes there are sticks of onions or things like that inside my food, i would pluck them out before eating. But that day, i took a small bite, and i find it cool and nice. So i took a big bite and its awesome. The spinach leaves give a nice and gentle sweetness to the sandwich. This is like best sandwich i ever eaten in singapore, serious. Im definitely going back to try other flavours :D
Look at the cheese, cheesy and sticky and delicious, and its mozzarella cheese!!! woo cheese hahaah with spinach and ham and some sauce. Simple but this combination with this italian bread, is really awesome.
They have nice posters too, love the simple style 1 picture on white background, with words below.
To conclude, if you love subway, you must try this. Although it dose not claims to be healthy here and there, i believe its not unhealthy either, after all what harm can you get for eating a sandwich haha. The price is also reasonable, most sandwich is about $8, the 1 i blog about is $9.

I havent tried their coffee but if i dont rate this shop 10/10 i cant sleep tonight, so yea 10/10, i might be easily impress but the sandwich is really impressive. haha
Ok location and other details is here

Next is wild honey, i first heard about this restaurant from thomp, he said theres this place that sells all day breakfast from many different countries. So i find it interesting and decided to give it a try. Yesterday was bored at town and have nothing much to do, walk ard town with MQ and realized its so boring (maybe its because im going in ns soon and i dun need to shop for anything), then i suddenly recall this place, and decided to check it out. Really a cool place, so yea, i guess town is not that boring afterall :D haha

So yea...introducing the place that sells all day breakfast and from many different country and style. Wild honey, Mandarin gallery #03-02. (btw i think mandarin gallery have some cool stuff, like ambush, the demin store ect not bad place.)
Menu on chalk board...hmmm common style?
How about this? menu on iPad, interesting eh haha
Ok i had this drink, and im really impress by it. THEY HAD JAM IN THEIR COCKTAILS haha, as an alcohol and cocktail lover, i find this really nice. The jam has a strong sweet taste that cover the alcohol completely, allowing the cocktail to have more alcohol (i think its double shot here) which results in more kick haha. It consist of jam, lime juice(i think), and smirnoff. really cool. Its called Wild Morning Dream haha
This is another drink, mq had it, its called Queen B, its some grape fruit juice and dunno what, haha i never try it.
And lastly its the breakfast. The 1 i ordered is Tunisian Breakfast, It consist of 2 eggs, some sausage and a mild spicy sauce with tomatos and some onion like stuff and 2 slices of bread. Its nice, interesting tunisian breakfast, ive never eaten it before. But sad to say i think i order the wrong thing. Although its nice, but i dun really like the spring onions on top and the tomatos and the weird veges in the sauce haha, but the egg and the sausage and the sauce is good. I should order something else. But still for spicy stuff lover, try this :D its good. Next time i shall try their japanese breakfast hahah. Looks good.
Overall, its an interesting restaurant worth trying, and i will definitely go again haha. For more info check out their website

Haha wow a foodful day out with mq haha.
Oh and something really funny happen last last week while i was in town with mq, in a shoes shop buying shoe. The shoes shop uncle though mq is my girlfriend, and then when i said we are not couple, he thought im wooing her, its really funny. nonono mq is my good good good friend hahaha but not my cup of tea :D then he end the conversation with, "the girl very pretty" hahahaha MQ GOT UNCLE SAY U PRETTY LEH if you are seeing this.

Hahaha, in fact come to think of it, the type of girl i like is completely opposite from mq, maybe thats y we can be purely friends, buddy buddy you know. Sometimes, its hard to befriend a girl you like cos things you do might scare her away, girls are sensitive, haha i know.

Sad... but now, i have no thoughts about wooing any girls, you know, NS soon...its an ass man...seriously...haha. Ive heard many stories about relationship problems and NS very scary, more scary then ghost stories in NS. haha i cant be a selfish person and cause a big mess like last time, i have learn a very valuable lesson: "if short term happiness is going to cause a long term heart break to someone, i rather forsake this short term happiness and be a lonely boy, love is not selfishness, its not what you want, its kindness and giving" so yea...lonely ns boy hahahahaha

I hope i dont scare you away, cos i just wanna be friends, no other bad intentions :D

Mac and Cheese no.2

ALRIGHT!! here is another mac and cheese tutorial for mac and cheese fans!!! hahaha. Remember the previous mac and cheese tutorial that i emphasize on the bread crumbs and the bacons, this 1 would be on crumbs to, but its potato chips crumbs this time. I got the recipe from online so i wont claim credit for it, but its really awesome and i wanna share it with you.

First lets start with the ingredients, we have...tada of course, potato chips!!!! i choose my favorite brand, kettle potato chips and since we are doing mac and cheese, i figured out that a cheese flavour chips will be better. Actually any chips will do, but kettle potato chips is just so great... :D

Next, today i will be using box mixed mac and cheese, if you want, you can use my previous tutorial that method for a more home made feel, or those butter + flour + milk + cheese mac and cheese sauce recipe that we can find online, its nice, i will do a tutorial on it next time, but today lets use the KRAFT!! box mixed haha.
So first step we shall make those potato chips into crumbs, put them into a plastic bag or zip lock bag and use you hand to press them, or you can use a rolling pin to hammer them.
bam bam bam....
And here we are, our crumbs, make sure they are in mid-small size, not to the extend of powder :D
And lets see our ingredients for the crumbs,

1/3 of a bag of chips, crushed into mid-small size bits
Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup (once again i got the packet shredded ones that are cheaper, but you can do it with the real block and shred it yourself)
butter - 1 tablespoon
bread crumbs - 1 tablespoon
(this will serve 2 to 3 toppings crumbs, but use them all for 1, cos im greedy hahaha)

First we heat up the pan, and put in the butter (oops not hot enough in the pic, but nvm)
and btw, a non stick pan is preferred, but mine is spoil and thrown away and have not bought a new 1, anyway mom rarely use non stick pan so nv bother to get a new 1...so sadly i have to use this powerful stainless steel pan haha.
Then we put in the chips, and turn to low - medium heat, keep the heat small :D stir a few times
Them we add in the cheese and the bread crumbs :D
Cook them for afew mins in low heat until it turns slightly brown, the potato chips are already cooked so we shouldnt use big fire, so remember, small fire :D
We will get something like this :D (arrrr bad photo)
Next step will be making out mac and cheese, the standard procedure for box mixed mac and cheese, boil the macaroni and put in the cheese sauce :D before i stir, i added in some mozzarella cheese and some Parmesan cheese, just alittle bit to get a better taste, you can do it without them.
Anyway yea, here is the mac and cheese ready to serve, i use half a cup of macaroni for 1 small serving.
And then we top it up with the potato chip crumbs toppings

Tada, look, cheesy and creamy mac and cheese with crispy potato chip crumbs.
Enjoy :D

This time im using box mixed, its abit salty but its for the sake of making it easy and simple, i will make a homemade sauce next time. :D
