Dead blog... haha and some diet tips

Its been a long long awhile since i last blog... free time for a NS man is very limited... only the weekends, so yea... apologies to those who check up my blog and find nothing updated... :((

Its been 11 weeks since i have been in NS, life is not that bad, my commanders are good and we have very good welfare. I have lost a total of 22 kg :D and thats a very good achievement :D haha

During CNY my female cousin ask me... how i lose weight so fast... (you know, girls always care about weight haha) and my reply was... GO ARMY LOL

Just kidding, i wont tell girls to go army... although its an awesome sliming center. Anyway today let me share some tips on how i lose weight, for those people who wanna lose weight.

1. Eat a heavy breakfast, a medium lunch and a light dinner (no snacking allowed)
the food intake goes down as the day proceed, this is a very good way to help in losing weight.

2. Eat less rice
i used to love rice, things like fried rice ect are my fav, and when going out for meals, i would usually eat 2 bowls of rice. Now... my rice intake on average is less then half a bowl, and sometimes i eat 1 or 2 mouthfull of rice and thats it.

3. Have many small meals instead of a big 1.
break the meals of the day into around 6 meals, thats what i did when im out of camp in weekends, normally i would take small meals like biscuit or bread or cereal in the morning, then go on to fruits in the afternoon, and then some light dinner.

4.* Eat more fruits * this is the key to how i lose weight :D
Fruits are good!!! like for now, mandrain oranges are my fav :D when my mouth is itchy i would snack on fruits. Normally in camp, i would take 2 serving of fruits, sometimes 3 when im very hungry. Eat more fruits, its good, use them as something to fill up your stomach when you are hungry.

5. Go jogging
Jogging is the best workout to lose weight, train cardio too. The tip is slow jog, long distance. Do a 3 km slow jog 3 times a week for starters, and slowly increase it to 5 km. Another way is to do intervals, but thats really tiring. Intervals of 20 sec sprint at maximum speed, 10 sec slow jog and do it 8 times. It only totals up to a 4 mins run, but super tiring.

Im not a pro but i hope some of my tips helps, cheers, next time maybe i shall try making some fruity tutorials :DDD

Pineapple tarts and army life :D

Awesome!! chinese new year is coming soon :D and mom is making pineapple tarts again!! haha
Lovely and delicious.... i just ate a few...and now im feeling fat...gonna have a little jog later before booking in :D

Too bad im not actively involve this year as im in camp most of the time... so no time to do a tutorial... but its really simple, the pineapple filling are premade and can be bought at pastry shops. The pastry is those standard pastry that consist of flour, butter and eggs. But some skills are required when making the pastry, the temperature management :D

Every year, mom will make lots of pineapple tarts to give to friends and relative and give me some box of them to bring to school... this time i cant bring in into camp...no food allowed... :(( and argh...this stupid army have been eating up my time... i want a weekday free to go out so i can give some tarts to the workshop staff and some lecturer... but too bad... i will see how ba... if not weekends ask them out to meet :D

Really looking forward to cny, i love shopping and shopping for cny clothes makes me happy :D
The food and eating will makes me fat but this is an exception...ill reward myself and take a break from this tough training. OMG im in cny mood liao...how... Next week in camp will be a week thinking about cny everyday... shit...

Life in camp is getting tougher... commanders are getting more and more strict. We kena tekan more and more times. In terms of trainning, it is getting tougher and tougher too. BUT I WILL SURVIVE!!! I WILL PERSEVERE AND CHIONG :D hahaha on a brighter side, i lost a total of 16.7 kg now... one of the top few in my platoon... :D and also im able to do 2 (sort of half fuck) chin up. These achievements will be my motivation to chiong and to do better. Push myself towards my goal.

Sick boy on a new year eve...

On my previous post, i was still talking about eating southeren burger and celebrating my new year eve...but nah...it never happen cos i have fever the night before nye... how unlucky can that be... So on that new year eve, i had no count down, no delicious dinner, no alcohol...

But then guess what, i have a bunch of awesome friends, my dear pid clique, after their dinner and count down they came all the way to my house, yishun...far leh...yishun...yea... to celebrate this new year with me. So theres a super impromtu party at my house. Played poker till 6+ am in the morning Im really very touched, i have such awesome friends. Theres a saying, whatever group of friends you celebrate your new year eve with, the friendship bond will be very strong for the upcoming year. PID PID forever!!! YEAH!!!

Fever for 3 days and im glad to say im much better now...still abit weak thou...but i wanna wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! i know im abit late...but im sick ok....slept the whole day yesterday lol.

2010 had been a good and bad year for me, many things happen, i see my friends graduate while im still being left behind in sch. Too much things to blog about, too much things to recall too. In the last year, ive done quite some achievement, for eg my fyp model making, non of my friends thought that i can produce this kind of standard, the sanding and polishing that take weeks. I realized im always a late bloomer, there are many things i can do well, but im always lazy to do it well, only when it comes to the last min, then i start getting serious. I need to change this mindset, and army is a good way to help me change this mindset, im giving in my 100% since my first day. So yea, im becoming a more serious person now :D

For this 2011, my new year resolution... haha firstly, losing weight and building up my body is a must, i wanna look good :D then it will be to chiong for command school, hopefully i can get into OCS, if not SCS also can haha yea i dunwanna geng my ns, i wanna chiong!! then will be to be a serious poker player and earn some $ from it. :D:D:D next is to cultivate more good karma by helping people around :D and then lastly...

Find a girl that i can give happiness to... a girlfriend :D haha nah actually im not that desperate for a girlfriend, need to slowly find also haha, but i just hope that my right person will appear soon :DD

The main thing for my New year resolution this year is to change myself for the better, lead a healthy and fit lifestyle do more good things :D

There are still many otheres, like in terms of learning maybe, learn motorbike??? i think my parents wont agree with, and singapore sucks, i wanna ride a hayabusa or ducati straight away, but they made it class 2b 2a 2...so troublesome...this 1 see how la... another thing im interested in learning is forex and stock market :D it seems fun, i wanna try :D Learning and reading up more stuff on business is going to help me too :D
